  1. Power Supply

Generates 5V, +/-12V,-25V(LCD VGA drive),-22V(LCD VGA supply) o/p from 220VAC.Digital on/off control for LCD VGA drive. Required VCCIO (3.3V) and VCCINT (2.5V) to support I/O standards are generated on board.

  2. LCD DISPLAY MODULE

A 4 row X 20 column LCD module to display graphic or text information

  3. LCD VGA DISPLAY

A 320 X 240 pixel LCD VGA display to display graphic or text information

  4. SIXTEEN SEGMENT LED DISPLAY

Eight, multiplexed, 16 Segment LED displays are provided. The user can use them to indicate the inputs applied and the outputs of a design. The 136 LEDs may be used individually or as a multiplexed alphanumeric display [Useful to monitor counter, shift register, combinatorial design outputs].

  5. LEDS

3 LEDs are present and can be used as above to indicate the inputs applied and the output of the design.

  6. BUZZER

Buzzer is present and can be used as above to indicate the inputs applied and the output of the design.

  7. SOLID STATE RELAY

This can switch a 220V, 16A AC low inductive loads. It is used to switch on/off the contactor described below and can be used for any other purpose.

  8. CONTACTOR

This 4 NO 1NC, 440 VAC, 5.5 kW contactor can be used to switch 3 phase/ single phase AC or DC loads such as air conditioners, pumps, motors, fans and other industrial/lab equipment.

  9. A TO D CONVERTOR

Choice of Analog Devices AD670 with 8-bit data , 10us conversion time and 0 to 5V analog input ,through a pot, or, an AD1674 device with 12 bit data , 10us conversion time and 16 Nos,+/- 12V, analog channels.

  10. DIP SWITCHES

An 8X2 matrix of DIP Switches are provided for digital inputs to the FPGA.

  11. KEYBOARD

Sixteen keys in 8 X 2 matrix configuration are provided and can be used as a multiplexed keyboard or as individual digital inputs.

  12. JTAG DOWNLOAD CABLE

Has a 25 pins D Type connector on both sides. It Connects the 25 pin D connector on the trainer to the PC's parallel port and is used for downloading designs from the PC to the FPGA via its JTAG port

  13. SERIAL CABLE

Has a 9 pins D Type connector on both sides. It connects the 9 pins D connector on the trainer to the PC's serial port and is used for transmitting and receiving data between PC and FPGA device via its SERIAL port.

  14. MOTOR

DC motor is present and can be used as above to indicate the inputs applied and the output of a design. Its speed can be varied using Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) at a maximum frequency of 5khz.
